Pacific Pie Company was launched in 2009 when husband and wife team Sarah & Chris moved to Portland from Chris’ native Australia. Chris was homesick for all things Aussie, including meat pies, so Sarah started baking them for him…and a business was born!
Sarah and Chris started by selling their pies at local farmer’s markets and then opened a small cafe in Southeast Portland in 2010.
Sarah & Chris left their successful business in the hands of new owners, Ryan & Jamie Cox, in 2018.
Ryan, Jamie & their twin boys are keeping the tradition alive in Portland with the city’s best sweet and savory pies. They’re expanding in catering events and commercial sales while maintaining restaurant operations.
Ryan and Jamie, originally from Colorado, have traveled the world sampling culinary delights and look forward to expanding the menu. Ryan spends the majority of his time at a Portland steel mill, but Jamie and the boys can regularly be found at the shop. They enjoy taking the time to make the restaurant feel like home to their customers and enjoy chatting. Stop by and say hello!
